Bookings for Weekly Quiz

• Available in indoors for up to 6 people
• There is no card charge for the Weekly Quiz, however please note that all bookings are subject to card authentication ~ £5 is payable per team on arrival (free team pizza included)
• Bookings that do not arrive within 15 minutes of the booking start time or cancel less than 48 hours prior to the booking will be charged a cancellation fee of £10 pp
• We are only able to accept one booking per person for the above events

General Booking Terms

• On arrival, please head to the bar and a member of the team will be happy to show you to your table
• We are a cashless venue! Please advise all guests that we do not accept cash
• Please arrive no more than 5 minutes before your booking start time and, where possible, please arrive with your full group.
• Please arrive no later than 15 minutes after your start time as you may lose your table and deposit.
• All ordering is done at the bar, we do not have a table service option. Food & cocktail menus are located on the tables, please make sure you take note of your table number when ordering food.
• Our resident DJs play on Thursday, Friday & Saturday nights, music is expected to be louder on these evenings.
• Should you wish to cancel, please do so as soon as possible. Bookings that are cancelled with less than 24hrs notice will be subject to a £5 charge per person.
• Our kitchen is open Mon-Thurs – 11:30am-9:00pm / Fri-Sat – 11:30am-9:30pm / Sun – 11:30pm-8pm (children permitted on premises within the opening hours of the kitchen).
• Please let us know if you’re looking to bring any decorations down.

Festive Booking Terms
Private Hire Booking Terms 

• A £400 card authorisation fee is required to secure your booking. No money will be charged unless  you cancel within 7 days of the booking date and start time or fail to meet the minimum spend. Should either of these situations occur, your card will be charged the full £400 fee. 
• There is a late fee of £100 per hour if 50% of your party have not arrived within half an hour of the confirmed booking start time. 
• We require the final numbers, any dietary requirements, food service times and payment for all orders no later than 28 days after the confirmation of your booking or no less than 14 days of your booking date, whichever is sooner.
• We are strictly a no confetti bar! Any confetti used in your event may be subject to a cleaning fee of £25. 
• You are welcome to bring your own props and decorations, though please note we cannot hold any items after your booking time, and they will be disposed of by the end of the day.
• Please ensure all guests have valid photographic ID. We reserve the right to refuse guests in line with the venue’s door policy – management’s decision is final. We allow under 18s in the venue until 9pm Sunday – Thursday and 9.30pm Friday & Saturday, after this time we kindly ask any under 18s leave the premises. 
• We are a cashless venue, please advise all of your guests that we do not accept cash or American Express. 
• There is a DJ on a Thursday, Friday and Saturday night, music is expected to be louder on these evenings. 
• There will be a charge if there is a drop below minimum agreed numbers and a change of location within the bar is within our rights.

Festive Table Bookings

•  There is no minimum spend for table bookings of up to 40, however a £5pp card authorisation will be taken per person which Water Lane Boathouse reserves the right to claim if the booking isn’t attended, cancelled or there is a significant drop in agreed numbers within 48hrs of the booking date.
• We require the final numbers, any dietary requirements, food service times and payment for all orders between 10 – 15 days prior to the booking start date, depending on the items chosen. 
• We are strictly a no confetti bar! Any confetti used in your event may be subject to a cleaning fee. 
• You are welcome to bring your own props and decorations, though please note we cannot accept responsibility for any items that are left at the venue after the booking end time.
